What FranchisePulse is

FranchisePulse is an independent editorial publication about artificial intelligence in franchising. It publishes reporting, a fact-checked claim file, and original benchmarks — principally the FranchisePulse AI Adoption Score and the sector averages built from it.

Those scores are editorial benchmarks. They are our assessment, on a published methodology, of how far a franchise system has adopted AI. They are not a credit rating, not a measure of financial health, not a recommendation to buy or avoid a franchise, and not a statement about any brand’s prospects. Unit counts and similar figures are approximate public figures, dated on the page where they appear; where a figure is marked source pending, treat it as unconfirmed.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, franchise or investment advice, and no relationship of adviser and client is created by reading it. Franchise investment carries real financial risk and the rules differ by country. Take advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction, and read the brand’s own disclosure document, before you commit money.

AI answers

Ask Franki and our AI tools answer from a published, dated corpus and cite the source page for each fact. They can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Verify anything that matters against the cited page and the brand’s own materials before acting on it. Do not submit confidential or personal information about other people into them.

Using the site

You may read, link to and quote this site for your own professional and personal use. You may not:

• scrape, crawl or harvest the site at a rate or scale that degrades it for other readers, or in a way that ignores our robots directives;
• republish a substantial part of our data or articles as your own product, or present our benchmarks as your own analysis;
• submit false claims, impersonate anyone, or send us material you do not have the right to send;
• attempt to break, probe or circumvent the site’s security, rate limits or access controls, or to extract the instructions behind our AI features;
• use the site to develop a competing dataset by automated bulk extraction.

Citing our data

Journalists, analysts and researchers may cite our published statistics free of charge, with attribution to “FranchisePulse” and a link to the page the figure came from. Reproduce the figure with its date and its methodology note; do not present a benchmark without saying it is a FranchisePulse benchmark. Our press and data page sets out what is available and how it was built.

What you send us

When you send a story tip, a claim for checking or a correction, you keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to use it in our reporting, including publishing it or quoting from it, unless you tell us it is off the record when you send it. You confirm that what you send is accurate as far as you know and that you are free to send it.

Our content

The articles, benchmarks, databases, design and code of this site belong to us or our licensors. Quoting with attribution is welcome, as set out above; wholesale copying is not.

Links to other sites

We link to brands, registries and news sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

Availability and changes

We publish this site as it is and as it is available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any tool or dataset, and we may update these terms; the date at the top moves when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Limits of our liability

We take care with our reporting and our data, but we do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every figure is accurate and current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for business losses, lost profits, lost data, or any loss that follows from a decision you took in reliance on this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
